:: INTERNSHIP WITH MANITHAM ::
- GUIDELINES -
The
International Internship Program works to help strengthen the human
rights/environment movements by facilitating the exchange of information and
experience. This supports professional development/exchange projects for the
staff of human rights/environment organizations and activists in countries.
Drawing on the experiences of activists in countries around the world, the
Program has also produced a number of informational and training resources, most
recently on economic, social and cultural rights.
Guidelines for Manitham Internship:
1. Should be a Manitham member [And if possible, atleast one action on Human
Rights has to conduct in the home country under the banner of Manitham], before
enrolling of Internship.
2. Should complete 18 years. Minimum internship period should not less be than
15 days for Indians and one month for abroad students. Maximum period 1 year and
may continue with permission.
3. Passport and Visa:
- Passport and Visa should be given by competent authority.
- Visa should be allowed to work on Human Rights in India.
4. Internship students have ready to take part in:
- Educating People.
- Attend seminars etc.
- Participating in Campaigning.
- Grass root level Public Actions.
- Research and Documentation.
5. Internship Fees:
- We are not collecting any money for Internship from the students. [But,
voluntary contributions can be made].
6. Expenses:
- All day to day expenses during internship, should be borne by the students
himself which may includes Boarding and Lodging, travelling, materials,
correspondences, guide if any etc. All actual expenses met by Manitham office on
behalf of the student, should return.
7. Internship student should accept the term and conditions. Any violations will
lead to immediate termination without notice. |
