COIMBATORE DISTRICT
:
It is very happy to hear that our Executive Director had successfully completed
the tour and have had good chances to contact new members and cordially conduct
meetings to promote our organisation. Thanks and greetings to one and all for
coordinating the same and making it a success.
01-11-2006 : Considering our Coimbatore District, it was a long time hope that
we should have a district committee to look after the human rights issues here in
the district. And this time, it happened with the support of all our members
here.
We discussed and reviewed our past action plans like election awareness campaign
etc and then discussed about the future plans especially to celebrate the "World
Human Rights Day - 2006" in December.
Later we had elected our district committee consisting of one District
President, one Secretary and one Treasurer.
The names of them are as follows:
1) District President: Mr. Ravikumar.V (Mobile: 98433 86277 - profession:
Business and Karate Master)
2) District Secretary: Ms.Reena (Profession: Project Coordinator,
Mariyalaya Orphanage Home, Coimbatore)
3) District Treasurer: Mr. Thiyagu (College Student and Karate Master)
After forming the district committee, we discussed about conducting a public
meeting for the World Human Rights Day. Need to discuss and plan regarding that
later.
Hope the team will work honestly to promote our organisation to a great extend.
Only commitment will lead to success and I am a person believing & following in
the proverb "Walk the Talk". So you all can see more updates from our Coimbatore
District in the future.
Thanks once again to all the District Coordinators and Executive Director for
the kind support and guidance. Expecting your esteemed coordination in future
also.

TRICHY DISTRICT
:
It was a wonderful day, 31 October, that we the members of Trichy met you for
the first time, after we joined this prestigious organisation.
Though it was our first interaction with you, we had good things to discuss,
exchange our views, and know more about the organisation and also about
ourselves.
As we the members were much impressed by the way Manitham functions, we have
decided to expand our membership.
As the co-ordinator of Trichy, I have been put in to lot of responsibilities and
i am sure that I will maintain the reputation of Manitham.
I have planned to have a seminar on “awareness on human rights” exclusively for
the youth, focusing on the college students, which is very vital, so that as
they get aware about human rights, the up coming generation may be benefited.
More details on the programme will follow and I am sure this seminar will be a
remarkable one.
The next meeting with our executive Director should be the talk of the town.
I and the members of Trichy wish Manitham and the Director all the success in
their works.
